Three steps
- Tell us about the job: fence type, rough length and your postcode. Photos help.
- We offer it to one vetted local fencer. If they cannot take it quickly, it goes to the next firm.
- The fencer contacts you, visits, measures and gives you a written quote. You decide whether to go ahead.
What it costs you
Nothing. Fencers pay us a small fee for each enquiry they choose to take. That never changes your price.
Questions worth asking your fencer
- Concrete or timber posts, and how deep will they be set in chalk or wet ground?
- Will you use galvanised or stainless fixings, given we are near the sea?
- Is taking away the old fence included?
- Is the quote in writing, and does it include VAT?
- What deposit, if any, and when is the balance due?
Any contract for work is between you and the fencer.
